Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to website operators. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels — collectively referred to as "cookies" in this policy.
This Cookie Policy explains how Veluvanto s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies on the Veluvanto website and web application, in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on Electronic Communications, and GDPR.
2. Cookies We Use
We use only strictly necessary and functional cookies required for the operation of our service. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or behavioural profiling cookies.
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Maintains your authenticated session after login | Session / 30 days | First-party, httpOnly |
| csrf_token | Security: prevents cross-site request forgery attacks | Session | First-party |
| lang | Remembers your language preference (Czech/English) — functional cookie to preserve your chosen interface language | 1 year | First-party, functional |
| theme | Remembers your interface theme preference (light/dark) — functional cookie to preserve your chosen visual setting | 1 year | First-party, functional |
2.2 Functional Cookies
The lang and
theme cookies listed
above are classified as functional cookies — they are not strictly required for
authentication or security, but are necessary to deliver the service in the language
and format you have chosen. Under Recital 25 of the ePrivacy Directive, functional
cookies necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user do not require
consent. These cookies do not track you across sites and contain no personally
identifiable information.
2.3 Analytics Cookies
We currently do not use analytics cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your prior consent through a cookie consent banner.
2.4 Marketing / Advertising Cookies
We do not use any marketing or advertising cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
The following third-party services may set cookies when you interact with our service:
- Google (OAuth login): When you sign in with Google, Google may set
cookies on accounts.google.com as part of the authentication flow. These are governed
by Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not control these cookies.
Microsoft (OAuth login): When you sign in with Microsoft, Microsoft may set cookies on login.microsoftonline.com as part of the authentication process. These are governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement. - Paddle (payment processing): When you complete a payment, Paddle may set cookies for fraud prevention and payment session management. These are governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
4. Cookie Consent
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies (which do not require consent under applicable law), we do not display a cookie consent banner for our core service.
If we add any non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement a consent mechanism in accordance with GDPR and ePrivacy requirements before setting such cookies.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Veluvanto service.

6. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, our application uses browser local storage to save interface preferences (such as sidebar state and UI settings). This data does not leave your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or by clearing your browser's site data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page. If we introduce new types of cookies that require consent, we will implement appropriate consent mechanisms.
