Subscription and credit management

How Credits Work

AI features use credits from your monthly allowance. Different operations consume different amounts:

  • Document analysis (when you upload a file) — approximately 10 credits for text documents, 20 credits for scans and images.
  • Search — free, no credits used.
  • Translation — approximately 5–20 credits depending on document length.
  • AI assistant question — approximately 2 credits per answer.

Credits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused credits carry over to the next month, up to twice your monthly allowance.

Typical Monthly Usage

We measured real-world usage across different customer segments. Here's how many credits you can expect to use each month:

Estimates assume a mix of text documents (~10 credits) and scans/images (~20 credits). Actual usage depends on document size and type. Unused credits roll over to the next month (up to 2× your monthly allowance).

Need more credits for a one-time migration? You can purchase extra credit packages anytime. Packages: 5,000 credits for €15, 25,000 for €65, 100,000 for €220. Extra credits never expire.

Checking Your Credit Usage

Go to Settings → Usage. You will see a chart showing how many credits you have used each day, and how many remain until the end of the current billing period.

Changing Your Subscription Plan

Upgrading

Go to Settings → Billing and click the plan you want to upgrade to. The new plan activates immediately. You will be charged the full price of the new plan and your billing date resets to the current date.

Downgrading

Go to Settings → Billing and select a lower plan. Your current plan remains active until the end of the billing period. The lower plan starts at the next renewal date.

Cancelling

Go to Settings → Billing and click Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of the current paid period, after which your account automatically switches to the Free plan.

Updating Your Payment Card

Go to Settings → Billing and click Update Payment Method. Enter your new card details in the secure form and click Save. The new card will be used for all future payments.

Viewing Past Invoices

Go to Settings → Billing History. You will see a list of all past payments. Click Download next to any entry to download the invoice as a PDF.
